Congratulations on your interest in partnering with a health and wellness coach and committing to a healthier you!

You might be wondering, what is health and wellness coaching (HWC)?

It is a collaborative process between coach and client to help facilitate lasting behavioral changes towards a healthier lifestyle.  HWC encompasses things such as diet, exercise, sleep hygiene, stress management, mindfulness, and compassionate communication.

HWC is a person-centered approach to helping people achieve a greater level of health and well-being. Making real, lasting lifestyle and behavior (habit) changes isn’t as easy as the flip of a switch. It takes ongoing effort and support. Health coaches blend the art and science of skillful communication, behavior change, and habit formation to form lasting changes.

A health coach is a change agent. Health coaches provide the right kind of support, encouragement, and challenge to help people make critical lifestyle and behavior changes aligned with their health goals.

Health coaches assist people in improving their self-understanding and awareness, creating an optimal vision of their health and well-being, setting personal goals, creating and maintaining new habits, and becoming their best selves.
